INITIAL DISCUSSIONS
Our service is not just what you see as a product, it is what goes into making that product a visual treat! It is not just interior design, be it residential or commercial. It is not just architectural design – residential, commercial or any other. It all starts with you. Your need, your space, your budget, your idea. Many a times, clients don’t know materials, clients don’t know design principles, but they always know what they want, they always know something they like when they see it. That is where we step in.

PRE DESIGN ANALYSIS
As we said, the process starts with you. Get in touch with us. Tell us what you need. An initial meeting with the client is the starting point of the process. This stage is crucial. It helps the designer form a rough framework of the project itself. The needs of the client, the description of available space, the limitations – all understood from the client’s perspective.

DESIGN EVOLUTION - SKETCHES
The second stage is actual recce of the space – a flat, a condo, a restaurant it could be anything. The actual measurements fuel the process of visualisation, understanding again the client’s perspective while also making our own observations as designers – identifying the potential highlights and challenges of the space. The next stage is that of sketching – visualising, creating on paper what this place could look like. Making a framework, amalgamating the client’s inputs from the first meeting and our own observations and design knowledge. These sketches are packed with details, though may not be visible. This is where ideas about material, walls, colour, pattern, furniture start to crystallize. Nothing is superficial, and things are starting to get real here.

VISUALIZATION
These sketches are then converted into three dimensional visuals, for the client’s benefit. At this stage, changes are quite possible. Changes are possible later too but are more tedious. This is probably the starkest difference between interior design and architectural design process. In architectural design, once the plan is finalised, changes in form are rare. Once the client approves of the three-dimensional design, the actual physical process of transformation starts.
